Silence broken

Sorry for my long but temporary silence! But I've had an excellent reason for my absence, wandering around Helsinki and Tallinn with my friend and visitor-for-a-week Ester. It was a really great time and we saw a lot. I'll gradually upload pictures of all the sightseeing to my Flickr page.

As for the picture above, I couldn't resist taking it, even though I obviously wasn't supposed to. Doesn't the guy on the left remind you of someone? Or is it just me?

Feeling aqua ...

... and a bit green. Somehow lately I noticed a new fascination for the colour aqua (or turquoise ...). I've had one about two years ago, already, got tired of it and now it came back with a vengeance. ;-) I especially like it in the combination with olive green like here:

Easter preparations

Easter is really drawing close now, and I am doing some last-minute preparations. I've sown some grass and barley seeds on a dish to grow some nice green Easter grass and begun to put up the decorations. On my list are still these delicious looking Easter buns (click on the small pic to see them in their full glory) and colouring some eggs. I am always using onion peel for colouring, but this has inspired me to try something new. I'll let you know how it all turns out!
